BURN OUT


Burn out is a problem that is faced by the people how are workaholic not alcoholic. The Harvard business review tells about the born out is cause of the work overload, is the primary cause of the burn out. The dead line pressure is another problem. The term is non clinical but widely used by the people to tell “I am tired”. Seven percentage of the workforce in the world is suffering form the Burn out issue. Most of the Financial Professionals   (Eighty five percentage ) are suffering form the same issue. If the issue is unattended it will be the cause of artery disease, hypertension, sleep disturbance,depression and anxiety.

 

Exhaustion

Exhaustion is the central symptom of burn out. It comprises profound physical Cognitive and emotional fatigue.

 

Cynicism

Cynicism, also called denationalization, represents an erosion of engagement. It is essentially a way of distancing yourself psychologically from your work. Instead of feeling invested in your assignments, projects, colleagues, customers, and other collaborators, you feel detached, negative, even callous. Cynicism can be the result of work overload, but it is also likely to occur in the presence of high conflict, unfairness, and lack of participation in decision making. For example, after ignoring repeated directives to push solutions that didn’t solve clients’ problems, Ari realized that the constant battle with his bosses was affecting his own behavior.

 

Recovery and prevention


Good sleep and nutrition is the basic Preventive and recovery method to untangle the burn out issue. Finding the root cause of the burn out is the Prime priority in the solution making process.

 

Reduce the exposure to job stressors

 

Long team health is the goal in the cause of reducing the exposure to high job stress. The best antidote to the stress is to talk and make more connections than Normal to have the basic re leaf to the stress.

Burnout can often feel insurmountable. But the sense of being overwhelmed is a signal, not a long-term sentence. Continual exposure to stressful situations, like caring for an ill family member, working long hours, or witnessing upsetting news related to politics and school safety can lead to this stress condition.” .

The Idea burn out however easy to spot. As the American psychologist Herbert j. Fredericksburg says it is a severe stress condition that leads to severe physical , mental and emotional exhaustion. Much worse than ordinary fatigue it challenges people both emotionally and mentally. High level of stress can experience the burnout in every human. 

 

Physical signs and symptoms of burnout

  • Feeling tired and drained most of the time.

  • Lowered immunity, frequent illnesses.

  • Frequent headaches or muscle pain.

  • Change in appetite or sleep habits.

     

Emotional signs and symptoms of burnout

  • Sense of failure and self-doubt.

  • Feeling helpless, trapped, and defeated.

  • Detachment, feeling alone in the world.

  • Loss of motivation. Increasingly cynical and negative outlook.

  • Decreased satisfaction and sense of accomplishment.

     

Behavioral signs and symptoms of burnout

  • Withdrawing from responsibilities.

  • Isolating from others.

  • Procrastinating, taking longer to get things done.

  • Using food, drugs, or alcohol to cope.

  • Taking frustrations out on others.

  • Skipping work or coming in late and leaving early.
